August tends to be a very “sleepy” month for Real Estate Sales in BC.

We really wanna enjoy the whole month of sunshine, ya know? River hangs, lake swims and all things summer.

And while I love all of those things and more… they don’t necessarily translate to ‘all-time’ sales numbers or statistics for Real Estate in our beautiful Province.

Let’s look a little deeper at the Squamish stats, as posted by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for August 2023:

  • % of Original Listing Price – 98.4%
  • Average Days on Market – 27
  • Average Price per square foot – $692
  • Total Inventory – 105
  • New Listing – 36
  • Total Sales – 15

APARTMENTS/CONDOS

  • % of Original Listing Price – 98.5%
  • Average Days on Market – 20
  • Average Price per square foot – $827
  • Total Inventory – 31
  • New Listing – 18
  • Total Sales – 14

TOWNHOUSES

  • % of Original Listing Price – 98.9%
  • Average Days on Market – 15
  • Average Price per square foot – $743
